Camping with the NCC: worth discovering

Camping with the NCC: worth discovering

Are you looking for peace and quiet during your camping holiday? At the Dutch Caravan Club (NCC) you will find that and more. As a non-profit organizationthe NCC offers a unique camping experience at a dozen of its own campsites spread across the Netherlands. The club focuses on people aged 50 and over, but hospitality for everyone is paramount.

Why become a member of the NCC

Membership of the NCC offers a considerable number of advantages. Both in terms of atmosphere, logistics and financial benefits. For example, there are no high/low season prices at the club's own campsites. Camping without surprises, in other words. The spacious, unfenced comfort pitches are designed to allow you to enjoy privacy and peace. You can always find a spot at the varied campsites throughout the Netherlands. There are 12 of them, from nature to coast, there really is something to choose from. These sites always have clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, which of course makes for comfortable camping.

Sociability is another advantage of becoming a member. You become part of a close-knit and active community of camping enthusiasts, where you quickly make new friends and share experiences. Although the focus is on people aged 50 and over, families with younger family members are also very welcome. Many fun activities are organized for them, so that everyone can enjoy an exciting camping holiday. For more and more people, camping does not stop after the summer. That is why a number of NCC campsites simply remain open in winter.  In Zeewolde, Alphen aan den Rijn, Blerick or Zuidwolde you are most welcome during the mulled wine season. In addition, the location in Zeewolde offers storage facilitiesfor your caravan or camper, so you are always ready to leave for your next adventure.

Different subscriptions

Membership of the NCC requires a contribution of € 95 per year and you get a lot in return. First of all, there are advantageous rates at the club's own campsites. In addition, membership also provides special discounts at many campsites abroad. Not only for caravans but also for campers or folding caravans, various subscriptions are available to discover the fun of the NCC campsites in an advantageous way.

For example, there's the summer wandering subscription. Imagine this: you choose a site, for example Hardenberg, open from April 1st. Enjoy a few relaxing days and then return home. Your camping equipment can stay there for a month without extra costs. After that, you move on, perhaps to Zuidwolde or another favorite spot. During the summer holidays, try Ellewoutsdijk in Zeeland, or Callantsoog when the sea beckons. You can decide entirely when you travel to a new environment. The rate for this summer wandering subscription is € 1.325,-  and that's just half of what you would typically pay for a seasonal pitch at a regular campsite. There is also a winter wandering subscription for € 510,-. This is valid from November to March. An excellent way to get more out of your camping equipment.
