1. Deventer
Dickens Festival
The Dickens festival may not be the first Christmas market you think of, but it's definitely worth it! The whole of Deventer is transformed into 19th-century Englande century. On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December 2019, over 950 characters from the famous books of the English writer Charles Dickens will come to life: from Scrooge to Oliver Twist, from Mr. Pickwick to Christmas Carol Singers, from orphans to office clerks and distinguished people. 2. Brussels
Christmas market of no less than 2 kilometers!
The Brussels Christmas market has been in the top 3 best Christmas markets in Europe for years, and that is not entirely incomprehensible. From November 25 to January 1, the center of Brussels is transformed into a gigantic Christmas market of no less than 2 kilometers! A huge Christmas tree is decorated on the Grand Place and there is a large ice rink on the Quai aux Briques. There is plenty to see and discover, as winter festivals can be experienced throughout the city. So you certainly won't be bored in Brussels!

3. Valkenburg
Underground Christmas market
Europe's largest underground Christmas market, you can visit it in picturesque Valkenburg. Let yourself be carried away by the underground enchantment in the caves with hundreds of stalls, thousands of lights and impressive sand sculptures.
