Top 15 most popular campsites in the Netherlands
Camping in your own country grew significantly last year, the Central Bureau of Statistics calculated. Dutch campsites received no less than 20 percent more visitors. Booking site Zoover delved into last year's reservations and put together a Top 15 of the most popular campsites in the Netherlands.
Number 15: Minicamping Boogaard
A 9,7 for child-friendliness and even a 9,9 for hygiene. And so Minicamping Boogaard from Zoutelande (Zeeland) scores even more bizarrely high marks, with a final mark of 9,8. The campsite is located near the beach and a nature reserve. There is a separate play area for the little ones and the baker and fishmonger visit the campsite.

Number 14: Camping Ackersate
Ackersate campsite is located in Voorthuizen (Gelderland), a luxurious Ardoer campsite with clean sanitary facilities, but as a spoiled camper you can also opt for a camping pitch with private sanitary facilities. There is play equipment everywhere on the fields and there is both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool - with slides.
