“Our largest LMC motorhome is 7.5 meters, but anyone with a regular B driver's license can drive it. If necessary, we will do a test drive and everyone will be used to it within half an hour,” says Wildrik Bouman, initiator of Quality Time Campers. The LMC brand is part of the German Hymer group and belongs to the top segment of luxury motorhomes in Europe.

Van conversions

For those who really want a smaller motorhome, for example to maneuver through the narrow streets of city centers, a van conversion offers a solution. This has the dimensions of a regular delivery van, but with a smart layout, you still have two seating areas, two double beds, and more than enough storage space. Quality Time Campers has a number of van conversions from the Dreamer Living Van brand, a label from motorhome builder Rapido.

Unique in this van conversion is the adapted roof above the cabin, which allows for a pop-up bed. The rear seating area can be converted into a second sleeping place for two adults without any effort. Even more unique are the separate shower and toilet cabin. Something you usually only see in a considerably larger (A-class) semi-integrated motorhome. It never feels cramped thanks to the spacious U-shaped seating area at the rear.

Plenty of choice

Now that everyone has to take corona into account, a motorhome offers the opportunity to go on holiday. You have everything with you: kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, but also your own toilet and shower. The motorhomes from Quality Time Campers are new. Aerodynamic models with a Euro6 engine, which is fuel-efficient with a not too heavy right foot. With a little control, these motorhomes consume no more diesel than an average passenger car. The motorhomes are further equipped with all conveniences such as a living area air conditioning, navigation system, and reversing camera. In addition, each model has its own advantages. There are large and small models, furnished for two or four adults, suitable or not suitable for pets, equipped with a manual gearbox or an automatic, an extra-large garage or with underfloor heating.

Flexible rental conditions

“The motorhomes can be rented for a minimum of 3 days. It doesn't matter to us which day you start that period. On the first day you pick it up at 10:00 AM and on the last day you return it before 5:00 PM.” Wildrik Bouman is more flexible with this than is usual. Every motorhome is also equipped with basic equipment. In addition, extra accessories can be rented. Think of duvets, bike racks, patio chairs, or a microwave. All motorhomes are thoroughly disinfected after use, so the next renter is assured of a spotlessly clean camping vehicle.

Coronaproof dining

The first prize for the best idea during corona time goes to Quality Time Campers. To escape the daily misery, you can still go out to eat with family or friends. You book a motorhome for this, which remains at the location. Then, in a safe way, a gastronomically responsible 3-course dinner is served in the motorhome. Drinks are unlimited. For the occasion, the location has been made extra cozy with a campfire to enjoy between courses.
