A nice robust VW Westfalia, with a strong 5-cylinder diesel engine. 5 gears with a Bearlock for extra security. A brief overview of what maintenance has been done on the bus in recent years is a revised fuel pump and converter, new hoses and sensors, new protective plate and a new exhaust. Furthermore, a new MOT until April 2026.
Everything functions well on the bus, the coolant alarm light works especially well, because it flashes continuously. Have had it made a few times but comes back every time. Not a problem for me in the 10 years I've been driving it, just keep an eye on the temperature gauge.
Rust is visible in two places, rear fender and on the roof. Roof racks and a bicycle carrier are included for additional transport options. Tent cloth is thin but waterproof, holes in the cloth are closed with transparent Goretex tape. But replacement is finally inevitable; a new lifting roof cloth can be purchased from Poptop for 489 euros.
