Quality Caravans and Campers
The history of Lord Münsterland Caravan, abbreviated LMC, begins in 1955, when the first Knospe caravan rolls off the production line. This is followed by the successful Münsterland, Luxus, Münsterland Dominant Lord and Lord Exquisit series. From 1986, in addition to building caravans, LMC started producing the Liberty alcove campers. The sales successes in this new segment for LMC led to new production halls to manage the success.
After LMC was acquired by Erwin Hymer in 1991, sister brand TEC moved from Mühlheim to the new building in Sassenberg to merge with LMC some time later.
A characteristic of LMC is the Long Life Technology. No wood is used in walls, floors and roofs. Due to this construction method, LMC offers a twelve-year watertightness guarantee. The brand also builds for sister brands from the Hymer group in Sassenberg. In 2018, an additional production hall followed.
For caravans, the Sassino is the entry-level model with two layouts. The subsequent Style series, a true family caravan, has no fewer than nine different layouts. Then follows the Vivo. Fresh trendy caravans in nine different layouts, made for the modern caravan enthusiast. With the comfortable Musica, LMC serves the middle class, available in eight layouts, making it a bestseller in the program. The Musica is also the top model at LMC.
LMC starts its camper program with the Element series. Four semi-integrated models, two of which are equipped with a face-to-face seating area. In the Comfort semi-integrated models, you see four different layouts with two single beds and one layout with a queen bed. The T 712 with a bathroom across the entire rear is special. Within the Comfort series, there are also integral campers in five layouts, three of which have a queen bed. All LMC campers are built on a Fiat Ducato chassis.
