Eura Mobil launches Integra: luxury integrated motorhome

Eura Mobil, the motorhome manufacturer from Sprendlingen, Germany, introduces a new integrated motorhome in the luxury segment: the Integra. Bling-bling, both inside and out, and equipped with the latest technologies.

What immediately stands out about the Integra is the enormous windshield, which makes the vehicle appear optically taller. Inside, almost two meters of headroom have been realized. A pleasant feature is that the Integra has a flat floor from front to back, without trip-prone steps or ledges near the kitchen or living area. This floor is even double-layered, resulting in higher winter resistance: water tanks are frost-free in the almost 20-centimeter-high double floor, as are storage compartments for luggage and space for technical installations.

Two lengths

The Integra will be available in two lengths: the large 890 tandem axle (length 8.99 meters) and its 'smaller' brother 700 (length 7.16 meters). For the 890, you can choose between two layouts: one with single beds along both side walls, or a layout with a luxurious queen-size bed, centrally located in the bedroom. The 700 comes with only single beds. Below them, by the way, is a sea of space, among other things for hanging clothes and a garage for bicycles and camping furniture.

LED lighting

On the exterior, the Integra is richly equipped with LED lighting. Both for daytime – daytime running lights – and for the evening. A nice gimmick are position lights hidden at the top behind the windshield and the 'running lights': the dynamic turn signals, as Audi also uses.

Behind the service hatch on the right side of the motorhome, all technology is easily accessible: drinking water, greywater, underfloor heating, boiler, etcetera. Clear and neatly installed. The chrome grille, the modern rearview mirrors, and the matching headlights make the Integra completely up-to-date. Clever is the camera at the drain point of the greywater tank: from the driver's seat, you maneuver the motorhome precisely above the collection tank of the camper station and with the push of a button, you empty the water tank.

High gloss and chrome

Inside, it is mainly the high-gloss finished furniture, the chrome accent strips, and the enormous amount of indirect LED lighting that impress. Everything is dimmable, allowing you to create an atmospheric ambiance. Even the walls have indirect lighting, as do the ceilings, the storage compartments, the splashback in the kitchen, and the headboard in the bedroom. And who would think of indirect lighting behind the shower fixture in the bathroom? It certainly creates a luxurious atmosphere in all living compartments, and because all lighting is LED, energy consumption is moderate.

Espresso machine

In the living area of the Integra, the L-shaped lounge sofa of the 890 or the smaller corner sofa of the 700 dominates. You sink comfortably into the cushions, which can be made of leather if desired. As usual, the pilot seats in the cabin are swiveling, creating a cozy seating area in the vehicle. A pull-down bed is also located in the cabin. Clever detail: a flat screen is concealed in the sofa of the 890. At the touch of a button, the TV electrically rises. We see the same surprise in the kitchen: an espresso machine that descends from the overhead cabinets with an electric lift.

Driving license C

Building a camper that is 7.20 meters long and 2.32 meters wide, with a ready-to-drive weight of 3,330 kg: that's a technical feat. Theoretically, with the 700, you could still drive with a B driving license, but then only 170 kg would remain for holiday luggage. Much more than two toothbrushes, a pair of flip-flops, and a tube of sunscreen would not fit. Owners of a C driving license, on the other hand, can load the vehicle with holiday items: the maximum permitted mass is 4,500 to even 5,500 kg for the double-axle model. With the 700, almost 1,200 kg of holiday luggage can be taken; in the 890, even 1,500 kg.

Integra camper test result

The Integra is a significant upgrade to Eura Mobil's existing portfolio. The integrated camper has a luxurious appearance and is equipped with all sorts of nice gadgets. The finish and installation of the technology are well done. Only one layout is available for the 700 - the best-selling layout in the Netherlands, but you have to like single beds. The Integra comes standard with a 130 hp diesel engine, but that's a bit tight for a camper of this size. Fortunately, the option list also includes a choice of 150 or even 180 hp. With a payload of one and a half tons, this is a camper for bon vivants who prefer to be on the road all year round. With a C driving license, of course.
