ByCarlo: new label from Carlo Camperbouw

Customization in camper construction is a way to have the camper of your dreams built, entirely according to your own insights. In the past 12 years, Carlo Camperbouw has successfully completed many projects in this way, to the full satisfaction of proud owners. However, there are also a few disadvantages to the working method of designing an interior for each commercial vehicle anew. It is labor-intensive and the construction time can be a bit too long. To address this, Carlo Camperbouw has embarked on a new path with a new brand name. ByCarlo stands for standardized customization in panel vans, mini campers and camper boxes.

With a ByCarlo camper, the advantage of customization has remained intact. You first purchase a van yourself, after which the living area is built in by a specialist. That van can of course be brand new, but because most campers do not reach the number of kilometers they were designed for, a car with some mileage on it can be a much more economical choice. Color, version, options and accessories are all in your hands in both cases. However, there is no free choice in brand and type. A ByCarlo camper is based on a manageable number of models that are similar in size. This means that an interior plan is immediately available and delivery can be much faster.

ByCarlo Ford, Toyota, Citroen, Peugeot or Opel

The Connect, Proace, Jumpy, Expert or Vivaro in an L3 or XL version are the models that ByCarlo puts its signature on. A purposeful and efficient interior that gets the most out of the space on board. The end result is in no way inferior in quality to what comes from standard series production. What remains is a car that suits you better with the associated price advantage.

Two and Four Person Campers

The midsize panel vans are based on a number of models that have similar dimensions. The Toyota Proace, Citroen Jumpy, Peugeot Expert and Opel Vivaro share the same body in this segment. The two-person version is equipped with a longitudinal bench, with the choice between a sleeping place below or above in the pop-top roof. The four-person version has a transverse bench with 3-point seat belts, which makes the panel van suitable for traveling with as many people as there are sleeping places. The living area is fully equipped as standard. Options are also available. With a diesel heater, chemical toilet, awning or solar panel package, you can add a lot of luxury to the standard.

Minicampers

Based on the Ford Transit Connect L2 from model year 2014, a ByCarlo camper is available that is in no way inferior in specifications to the larger models. Of course, it is a matter of making the most of the space, but not much is sacrificed in terms of possibilities. The great advantage of this small one is, of course, its daily usability as a passenger car. All mentioned models are contemporary and drive fantastically, but the external dimensions of a Connect fit just a little better in a parking garage or space. Because the Connect can get a camper license plate but is not eligible for the quarter rate in road tax, a Transit with the 100HP ecoboost on petrol is the best choice for private individuals.

Camper boxes

If you want to use a camper as a commercial vehicle outside of holidays, a camper box is a solution. This ByCarlo product consists of a number of loose, detachable units that can transform your painter's van into a camping vehicle in an instant, or vice versa. Here too, with a number of options, you can choose between simplicity or being fully equipped.

ByCarlo Campers Working Method

Based on an initial consultation, Carlo Camperbouw will draw up a quote. Clear price agreements are made so that there are no surprises afterwards. After an agreement, the conversion is scheduled in consultation and you will receive regular updates on the progress during the work. As soon as the panel van is ready, the car is registered for inspection with the RDW and Carlo Camperbouw takes care of the entire procedure from the RDW, BPM declaration to the camper license plate. After this has been completed, you are allowed to hit the road, but not before you receive a full explanation in addition to the necessary information and manuals.

A ByCarlo camper receives a 1-year warranty on the entire conversion. The factory warranty applies to the built-in systems. If there are any problems, Carlo Camperbouw is always available. Having long-term enjoyment from a ByCarlo Camper is the highest priority for this camper builder.
