LMC Element T 758 G: spacious newcomer
The German manufacturer LMC has added a new entry-level model to its camper portfolio: the Element, based on the Fiat Ducato. We looked at the largest version, with single beds and a separate shower and toilet.
The Element comes in two length variants: one just under seven meters (698 cm) and a version more than 40 cm longer, reaching 741 cm. Because the maximum permissible mass is set at 3,500 kg, you can drive this camper with a regular B driving license.
Exterior
The Element is built on Fiat's light chassis and comes standard with the 120 hp Fiat Ducato diesel engine, which meets the latest environmental requirements. It is equipped with AdBlue injection, which significantly reduces emissions. The 120 hp engine has the same torque as the 130 hp version from the previous generation of Fiat Ducato engines, making it perfectly suitable for this camper, although we would personally prefer to upgrade to 140 hp (additional cost approximately 1,300 euros).

The modern striping gives the vehicle a sporty look. In the left sidewall there is a service hatch for the gas bottles and at the back we see a large garage for bicycles and camping furniture. At the front, the Element has a large panoramic roof hatch above the windshield, which lets in a lot of daylight into the interior. The waste water tank is located near the rear axle – it is operated by pressing a button.
Living, cooking, sleeping
As we already wrote, this T 758 G has a separate shower and toilet. We see the second surprise as soon as we enter the camper. The vehicle is equipped with the modern lounge seating, which we are seeing in more and more brands: with two lounge benches opposite each other. A big advantage of this so-called face-to-face is the extra sense of space it provides. Because you can fold up the tabletop, a lot of walking space is also created. Nevertheless, you can travel with four people, because you can convert the benches into seats (with seat belts) in the direction of travel.

Above the lounge seating, a second double lift bed is mounted in the ceiling, which you can easily lower. In the living area and bathroom, there are two steps in the floor – so pay attention. The camper is equipped with a compact corner kitchen with not too much workspace. Opposite the kitchen is the tall Thetford fridge/freezer combination with a capacity of no less than 142 liters. Behind the kitchen we find the separate shower and the toilet room with a swivel Thetford toilet. The spacious shower closes with a plastic folding door and there is a small roof hatch for ventilation. With the toilet door you can close off the entire bathroom from the living area, so you can get dressed at your leisure.
Via two steps you can comfortably enter the single beds connected at the head end, one of which is no less than 208 cm long (the other 203 cm). Both head ends have their own USB connection for e-reader, phone or tablet. Hanging wardrobes for clothes are located under both foot ends and discrete mood lighting combined with reading lights is installed throughout the camper.

Installations
For heating and hot water, the camper is equipped with a Truma combi heater. We advise new buyers to upgrade to the 6E version so that you can heat not only on gas but also on 230 Volt when you are connected to shore power. The equipment is otherwise perfectly fine. Three gas burners for cooking, a large refrigerator, LED lighting, water tanks for drinking water and waste water: you can certainly go on holiday with this. The finish and placement of pipes and wiring are neatly executed.
Conclusion LMC Element
The LMC Element is a neat newcomer to the LMC portfolio. The styling of the vehicle is modern and attractive, the installations are neatly built in. The face-to-face layout provides a lot of space and there are sufficient 230 Volt connections and USB sockets on board. Special is the 12-year warranty on watertightness – a unique feature in the camper industry.
